Flagship Project 2: R2DATO – Digital & Automated up to Autonomous Train Operations

To meet the increasing demand for transportation of both passengers and freight, FP2-R2DATO will take the advantages of digitalisation and automation to develop the next generation ATC and deliver scalable digital and automatic (up to autonomous) train operation (DATO) capabilities in order to enhance the capacity of the existing rail networks.

5GRail.eu – Bringing worldwide 5G standard for railway operational communications

The main objective of 5GRAIL is to validate the first set of FRMCS specifications (also called FRMCS V1).

5G-RACOM

The German-French innovation project 5G-RACOM (5G for Resilient and Green RAil COMmunications) is investigating solutions for the efficient, reliable and sustainable use of the Future Railway Mobile Communication System (FRMCS) and the associated frequency spectrum.
