Eviden Joins FP2-MORANE-2 Consortium to Enhance FRMCS Implementation

Eviden, an Atos Group company specializing in digital transformation, has joined the FP2-MORANE-2 consortium to contribute to the development and testing of FRMCS. Eviden will provide key components, including the MCx Server for mission-critical communications, an Interworking Function (IWF) to ensure interoperability between GSM-R and FRMCS, and a dispatching system for real-time communication between train drivers and control centers. These contributions are vital for the successful migration from GSM-R to FRMCS, ensuring enhanced safety and efficiency in railway operations.
